Club Texas is a great venue to catch bands, the system sounds great and the seating is perfect. There is also plenty of dance room in front of the stage. There will be costumes, giveaways and suprises!

Hey Heart Shaped Rockers, HAPPY NEW YEAR! It is officially 2013, we now know that for certain because we have a party coming January 24th in celebration of our NEW CD! We are hosting a FREE show at Brian Boru (Check our ‘SHOWS‘ link at top of page), joining us is the one and only Bates Motel. We are celebrating with an early show and some Guinness of course and… we will be giving away copies of the new disc as well as some other surprises! This is an intimate show, so get there early. Plenty of parking nearby. More news TBA stay tuned…

WCYY is throwing a Black Friday bash at The Asylum in tribute of one of the greatest bands in history, "Led Zeppelin". You can bet that Heart Shaped Rock will be there, we will be rockin' out a tune too. It will be a night of local bands doing a rendition of Zep's music and whenever these events occur, they are always a blast! More info to be released as soon as we know more. Stayed tuned to WCYY for up to date news and HERE because we Love you!

Heart Shaped Rock will be posting a NEW holiday song as a FREE DOWNLOAD for a limited time at our ReverbNation site. Starting Black Friday and ending on 12-12-12, we will be posting our new holiday single for download. The song was inspired by local DJ MarkCurdo last Christmas when he asked us to play the WCYY Holiday Bizarre. Instead of covering a traditional holiday song, we decided to write one of our own. It was written in a single night and performed that weekend. It's a Holiday song that everyone can enjoy!

We are especially psyched to be coming up to the holidays with all the cool local shows that are happenin’ in Portland. On Black Friday, Nov 23rd, local bands will be giving thanks and praise to the greatest rock band of all time… Led Zeppelin! All this craziness will of course be taking place at THE ASYLUM – 121 Center St. Portland. Tix on sale at Bull Moose Music or PortlandAsylum.com.
